The story behind Nordora

Not so long ago within the aeons of history, and not so faraway, the name Nordora materialized during a relaxed moment whilst mowing our paddocks in the vain hope of constructing a manicured lawn. (It did not happen.)

Lost in thought my mind meandered along its many pensive routes until deep down in a forgotten pit of memories I saw myself swinging on a swing talking to angels and make-believe monsters.

Within my childhood recollections of perpetual imagination I knew however frightening or bizarre my adventures became behind an ever evolving mind’s eye I was always safe —safe from predators in all their many disguises.

My words were far fewer than my imaginary friends since I was unable to say the name of our house, so I named it Nordor. Several decades later, my son read the name Nordor whilst I was compiling documents for company submission and he shouted out Nordora!

So Nordora it was —Nordor Anotherland ruled over by the Goddess Nordora in a domain where all things are possible if you believe....
